Course overview & aim
To equip participants with advanced technical knowledge and practical skills to inspect, assess, and verify lifting accessories, ensuring they meet international safety standards and remain fit for purpose in demanding operational environments.
- Entry Requirement
- Completion of the LEEA Foundation course or previous Part 1 Entry (P1E) qualification. Participants must be over 16 years of age.

Learning outcomes

Assessment & certification
Written Examination
Closed-book examination covering standards, legislation, inspection procedures, and safety practices.
Practical Assessment
Hands-on assessment involving thorough inspection, defect identification, and reporting accuracy.
Participants who successfully demonstrate competence in both theoretical and practical assessments will receive the LEEA Lifting Accessories Diploma (LAC), a globally recognised qualification valid for 5 years. This programme supersedes the previous Lifting Equipment General (LEG) Advanced Programme and reflects current industry standards and best practices.
